Morning Mayhem

By Bella Leonard '21

It wasn't the mayhem we all wanted, but we made do with what we were given. True, there was no massive grade sleepover the night before, but 65 seniors drove up to Viz at 8 am for the first time to welcome new students. Posters were made the night before fitting the theme of Rodeo with Western fonts applied and almost everyone donned at least a cowboy hat, cowboy boots, or a bandana. Overall, we had a fun time. Country music started out the mayhem but the songs transitioned to more classics such as the iconic "Crank That (Soulja Boy)". Some recent alumni drove past just to catch another glimpse of Viz before they move off to college. I can't wait to take on my last year at The Academy with my classmates!
