I interviewed Emma Miller, a sophomore at Viz who started Style it Out, a resell clothing store. What is the name of your small business? Style It Out What type of products do you sell? Clothing and Jewelry What made you start the business/ how did you come up with the idea? I did it during covid to pass time What is the most crucial part of your business? I think the most crucial part is trying to figure out what will be popular items and how to price items What is your favorite thing to make? I like to take time finding good clothing pieces to add to my website What are the most stressful parts of your business? Definitely shipping things out on time and restocking items. Who helps you run your business or is it just you? My friends help model the clothes and my parents help with the business aspects. What do you hope to accomplish with your business/ products you hope to add? I hope to eventually have an app for my website or even open my own store. What is your advice to people who want to start their own business? Talk to people who have experience in business and have a plan and figure out budgeting beforehand.
