Tackle Hunger

September 2026, Visitation Academy crushed the competition and took home the Tackle Hunger champion title by bringing in a whopping 1,618 pounds of food. As part of our homecoming week, the Middle and Upper School teamed up for this national food drive, which was sponsored locally by Operation Food Search and Neighbors Credit Union to ensure our neighbors throughout the St. Louis community are fed. The Viz sisterhood showed heart and school spirit by blowing past the other schools on the scoreboard, securing a victory against Collinsville's 690 pounds and Alton's 370 pounds of food. Through Salesian Service, we lived out the Visitation mission by turning homecoming excitement into everyday action and growing together in spirituality, leadership, and service. This incredible drive was a great example of what it truly means to Live Jesus, proving that when Viz girls notice the needs of others and respond with compassion, generosity, and joy, they can tackle big problems and make a massive impact together. Good work, ladies!
