Why should Viz students get to wear Uggs and sweatpants during the winter?

Winter at school is brutal, especially in the mornings and inside classrooms. Allowing Viz students to wear Uggs and sweatpants would help us stay warm and comfortable throughout the school day. When we are comfortable, we tend to stay more focused and less distracted in class. Winter already affects students’ energy and mood, and strict dress codes can add unnecessary stress. Uggs and sweatpants are practical, not distracting, and still appropriate for school. Letting students dress for the weather would create a more supportive and understanding school environment.
