Fall Musical The 2020-2021 season will kick off with the regional debut of the new musical Bright Star. Open to grades 9-12, the musical is set in Appalachian America, and follows the story of Alice Murphy as she jumps timelines of her teenage years in the 1920s and her adult life in the 1940s. Nominated for five Tony Awards, this musical will be a life changing show to anyone who encounters it. The show is set to run in the third weekend of October. One Acts Student directed one acts are back this year! Juniors and Seniors are eligible to direct and it is always a popular event for the entire student community. One acts will occur in the winter of first semester. MS Musical Viz middle schoolers have the opportunity to star in their own musical this upcoming year! Freckleface Strawberry is based on the best-selling novel about a young girl, Freckleface, learning to accept how she looks and practicing self-love. The show is slated to run in the winter of second semester. US Play The closer of the 2020-2021 theatre season is the Upper School play It's Murder in the Wings. Four women discover their boss has been murdered an hour before he is expected to sign a contract with a famous author that will save their publishing company. This comedy will leave you rolling on the floor every second in this female driven play. The play is slated to run in April.
