I truly cannot believe that I am halfway through my third year with the Vivette Times. When I joined Emerging Media my sophomore year, I barely knew what I was getting myself into: I didn't know much about the site yet or what I would be doing as part of the team. My counselor had recommended that I apply (I did) and the rest is history. I've loved every moment of it, from writing articles to now co-managing the team. I've loved being able to be part of the team while watching the site grow and become something that students get excited to look at.
Though it's easy to forget that Emerging Media is technically a class, I can't believe how much I've learned in my two and a half years on the team. I can't wait to continue learning and helping the team expand the site. I'm really proud of our team this year and how far everyone has come from the beginning of the semester, especially having a mostly new team. While we've faced some challenges, especially with starting our year online, I think we've all taken the opportunity to learn what we can from these challenges. Though it is bittersweet, I can't wait for my final semester with the Vivette Times.
