When one thinks of Viz fall sports, they often think of tennis or volleyball, but there is a gem hidden under the surface, field hockey. This year, Viz's field hockey team has many new and old players, all working together to bring home a dub. With 7 seniors leading the team this year, its unmatched. The season has started off strong so far, with the team bringing home two wins and a tie from the coveted gateway classic, a tournament that teams from all over the United States come to play in. Next, the varsity team absolutely wiped out Notre Dame's team with a win of 8-0. Captains Mary Clare Murray and Isabella Vlaytchev have led the team to be better than ever this year. There might have been a few bumps in the road (Burroughs) from last week, but this week, the team is ready to take home dubs against Ursuline, MICDS, and Whitfield.
