Celebrating My Birthday in Quarantine

By Anna Cichelero '21

My birthday was a little different than normal this year since I celebrated it in quarantine, but it was actually a lot better than I expected. I was able to convince my mom to let me postmate Canes for lunch (and of course Lysol the containers excessively). After school my friends came over and drove by my house with signs and balloons. It was great to be able to see my friends from a distance and it was definitely something I wasn't expecting. For dinner, I forced my family to dress black tie so that I could wear my prom dress. We had a nice formal dinner of gnocchi and later had cake. Overall, it was a very exciting birthday and definitely something to remember.
