It's November - What now?

The weeks following Halloween are commonly known as hard to get through. The festivity of Halloween and the excitement of costumes and being with your friends has worn off, and by November 1st all of the candy already vanishes from stores. The weather turns windy, cold, and rainy, leaving the sunny, orange days of fall in the past. Every class somehow has a test on the same day, and the workload seems to grow as everyone’s motivation dwindles. We start seeing every Vivette come to school in leggings and sweatshirts, many still wrapped in their coats. Some say it’s not quite early enough to start feeling the Christmas spirit, with almost two months and Thanksgiving in between. However, others argue it’s never too early to start planning their Christmas lists. It’s becoming more common to see Christmas trees and decorations already going up in homes—even before the Thanksgiving turkey is in the oven. Even in this in between stretch of the year, Viz girls always help lift one another up and spend days at the library to keep their motivation strong. Viz the Season gets students and staff in the Christmas Spirit and brings everyone together! The Starbucks Christmas drinks are almost here, on every desk in the mornings to come.
